The iconic British Forces weapon of the Cold War Era, The SLR battle rifle saw service in campaigns from Aden to The Falklands and Northern Ireland before being replaced by the SA-80 (L85A1)

Originally chambered in 7.62mm, this rifle was incredibly powerful on the battlefield and is the Semi only brother of the FN FAL battle rifle. With an innovative recoil system that took the recoil away from the shoulder it lifted with each shot ( making auto fire impractical).

The Airsoft version by Ares, features a full metal receiver and polymer parts where they were on the original. Sling mounts front and rear, adjustable hop, it comes complete with a metal Mid-Cap magazine and rod style speed loader. There's also the carrying handle and mah release just as you would expect on the real steel version.
