The Tokyo Marui HK45 GBB is constructed with a polymer slide and frame, in compliance with Japanese laws, with an alloy magazine and internals which impart a satisfying mass to the Airsoft replica. The pistol features an adjustable Hop-Up unit which is designed to allow users to enhance the range and accuracy of their shots, allowing a range of BB weights to be used, and due to Tokyo Marui’s usual excellent design quality the HK45 can out range most standard Airsoft pistols. The weapon also features a gas blowback system, meaning that for every round fired the slide moves backwards to not only simulate recoil, but to load the next BB.
Due to the lightweight polymer design of the pistol’s slide it is extremely gas efficient, even in cold weather, making it perfect for those Skirmishers who use pistols as their main weapon.
As is fitting for a 21st century tactical pistol, the HK45 is completely ambidextrous, and Tokyo Marui’s Airsoft HK45 accurately replicates the ambidextrous functionality of the magazine release, safety and slide release catch. The weapon features an enhanced safety lever design, which can be set as a trigger disconnect to prevent accidental discharge, or be used to de-cock the hammer, meaning the hammer can be reset without having to discharge a round. The magazine has also had the tactical treatment, with an extended base plate, which serves as an ergonomic feature, ensuring users are correctly handling their HK45 while firing, in addition to making it easier to remove magazines and place them in the weapon.
